This was a unit that had caught fire blowing the left channel. heavy restoration work included REPLACING electrolytic and film CAPACITORS WITH PREMIUM PANASONIC, NICHICON, AND WIMA. all Transistors replaced Including output and driver transistors. burnt out resistors and wirewound power resistors Were replaced with Higher grade alternatives. rectifying switches replaced in the power supply and new diodes replaced makeshift transistors that were being used As diodes. new led dial lamps were installed, SWITCHES DE-OX’D and dc offset calibrated.
